So, you're thinking of contacting me about some illustration or cartoon that you want doing. What happens when you do?
First off, I'll ask you for any more information I need for the illustration or cartoon project in order to give you a price. If you're happy with the cost, I'll email an initial design to you for feedback.
Then once you've had time to look it over and give me your thoughts, I'll revise the illustration or cartoon image and send you a second draft. Generally, the initial design is pretty close to what my clients have in mind and only minor changes are needed, but the process continues as necessary until you are happy with your illustration or cartoon.
I'll do my best to supply the completed illustration in whatever formats you request. I can manage most popular electronic formats, and I'm also happy to send it to you on CD or as a hard copy by post. If there is a certain format you require for your cartoon or illustration just ask.
No, not at all. That is the beauty of working digitally, and using email and the internet. My working process with you is primarily email based & location really isn't an issue. It doesn't matter if I am not a cartoonist in Hollywood or an illustrator in California. It doesn't matter that I am not a cartoonist in New York.
I'm able to work closely with clients all over the world wherever you might be. You could be looking for a cartoonist or illustrator in Tokyo, Japan and speak only Japanese (we can use Google translator), all of these things are no obstacle when it comes to commissioning your chosen artist. So wherever you are, if you think I might be able to help you, drop me a line and I'll be in touch!
